Devotees Not Allowed Inside Rameswaram temple for 5 days
B ecause of the fifth consecration (Kumbabishegam-2016) on january 20, 2016. Public Dharshan service of the presiding deities of Rameswaram Temple ( Ramanathaswamy and Parvathavarthini ) will be stopped for five days ahead from January 16 ahead. During this period of time Devotees are not allowed to worship deities Inside the Temple. Also Holy dip (sacred Bath) also be not allowed during these five days. As told by Temple Commissioner S .
